Job Responsibilities

You are expected to oversee and perform the end-to-end accounting process of the Company. This role requires candidate who is service-focused, self-driven and eager to grow. We are looking for talent who has strong ownership and is able to execute task assigned timely.

I. Accounting:

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

II. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

III. Team Management:

  • Lead and manage the accounting team.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.

IV. HR Process Management:

  • Oversee and ensure monthly payroll are processed timely and accurately.
  • Manage and work with HR junior personal on HR related task to ensure effective HR process is in place.

V. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with company objectives.
  • Communicate financial performance and strategy to senior management and stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting related role or audit firm
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Remuneration

MYR 6,000 - MYR 8,000
