Our Client is an internationally accredited, multi-disciplinary and tertiary care private hospital located in the Klang Valley Region. It was recognized in 2021 for its excellence as imperatives in the digital health industry. As part of the Diagnostic Department's growth plans, they are seeking to hire a dedicated, and experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to be part of their team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms for both adult and pediatric patients. Ensure high-quality images to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Perform other non-invasive procedures such as ECG, Stress ECG, Holter & ABPM monitoring / analysis, Tilt-Table Test, Pacemaker checking, Pulmonary Function Testing, and other related diagnostic procedures.
- Support the Cath lab team during invasive procedures done in the catheterization laboratory.
- Work closely with cardiologists, physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to main functions and activities of Diagnostic Services to ensure operational efficiency and smooth delivery of services.
- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with PDPA regulations.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Cardiovascular Technology OR other certification in related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiovascular diagnostic procedures, specifically with demonstrated proficiency in performing echocardiograms.
- Proficient in operating echocardiography equipment and other diagnostic tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Good team player with a strong ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage workload and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and methods as they emerge.
