Position Overview:  Our client is an established automotive company for a reputable brand. They are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of General Manager of Corporate Strategy & Planning. The role will lead and oversee the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at fostering growth, innovation and a competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Formulate and implement the corporate strategy to align with the companys business objectives and long-term goals through application of the Hoshin Kanri method.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead engagement and collaboration with the respective department heads to ensure alignment and successful execution and monitoring of strategic initiatives.
  • Performance Metrics: Set measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate strategic vision and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders as well as build relationships with key industry partners.
  • Change Management: Lead and manage change management initiatives to ensure successful implementation of strategic projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience: More than 10 years of experience in corporate strategy, business development, or a similar role. Proven track record in strategic planning and execution.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
