About the job Accountant

Our Client:

Our client is a start-up in Malaysia, with a long-standing presence in Australia, specializing in the vegetables and meat industry.

Responsibilities:

  • To handle full set of accounts, month end closing and financial statements
  • To handle Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, Bank reconciliation, General ledgers and Payroll
  • To process payment relating to vendor and staff claims
  • To ensure accurate, complete, and up to date monthly accounts, staff claims and various reports.
  • To provide efficient support for day-to-day office and administrative task.
  • Participate in short and long term financial planning processes across all business units, including forecasting, reporting, and periodic operational metrics analysis and tracking.
  • Understand and analyses the key drivers in each business segment to validate forecast and to support business leaders in establishing date-driven decisions and strategies.
  • Provide accurate financial advice on all business matters by performing ongoing, timely and meaningful financial analysis.
  • Ensure that all FP&A reporting procedures and deliverables documentation are developed and well-maintained.
  • Implement appropriate metrics to monitor performance against forecast and goals, ensuring alignment with corporate targets and growth strategies.
  • Stock / inventory control.
  • Manage a flow entities.
  • Manage multi-currency account.
  • Coordinate annual budgeting process for both revenue and operating expenses by managing and coordinating input from various business units and departments.
  • Establish various budgeting templates and prepare internal presentations to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must prosses at least a bachelors degree in accounting.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in financial planning and analysis role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel in relation to financial modelling and data analytics and Microsoft Pourpoint.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal stakeholders and work efficiently cross-functionally (e.g. Sales).
  • Attentive to details, with high standards of accuracy and precision.
  • Highly analytical coupled with strong commercial acumen.
  • Organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Committed and driven to meet deadlines, targets and objectives.



Remuneration:
MYR 5,000 - MYR 9,000
