About the job Application Engineer (Technical Support)
Responsibilities
- As an expert of the client's Component Test products or solution, provides responsive and in-depth pre and post-sales technical support including measurement, application, configuration etc. Application includes active/passive component test, compliance test and impedance analysis etc.
- Understands customer's problems and efficiently resolves the technical inquiry via remote channels like phone, email, portal etc.
- Research on solution by replicating customer's issue in lab, proactively works with R&D by providing customer insights etc.
- Delivers technical expertise via a remote channel for solution implementation and start-up assistance to the customer based on Client's Test and Measurement products and services.
- Qualify and refer hardware, software and services sales opportunities to the right Sales teams.
- Contribute technical articles to the Client's Knowledge Base.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential due to the need to support the Greater China business.
- Bachelors/Master/Dr. Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Typically, 8+ Year Experience in using Test & Measurement instrumentation for Component Test. e.g. Vector Network Analyzer, PLTS, impedance tester, etc. Well understand on microwave component test, compliance test, impedance analysis, etc.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide variety of people. And be able to discuss and explain complex issues remotely.
- Possess a customer-first mindset with the passion to serve customers.
- Requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in job and ability to work independently.
- Be able to handle multi-task and work under pressure.
Remuneration
MYR 7,500 - MYR 12,000
