Responsibilities:

  • Designing EV Power Systems (Battery, Charging Station) hardware test systems utilizing our solutions, with a strong emphasis on power system hardware components and system integration.
  • Performing assembly and integration of hardware components alongside software testing.
  • Conducting tests to evaluate performance, safety, stability, and durability of EV hardware power systems.
  • Continuously learning new products, applications and technologies in areas of areas of automotive Electrical Vehicle technologies.
  • Leading the customer engagement in the EV battery, EV charging, and EV power electronics from technical perspective.
  • Teaming with sales representor, global solution development team, and other disciplines to develop and win complex opportunities.
  • Providing pre/post-sales technical support to customers with a heavy focus on EV technologies (EV battery, High-Power application and EV charging) measurement solution.

Qualifications:

  • BS, MS, PhD in Electrical, Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent with the ability to employ both a hands-on and analytic approach to problem solving.
  • Typically more than 10 years of working experience, with preferably 5 years in high power product design, high power DC system, or relevant, cross-functional leadership experience
  • Knowledge in C# is an added bonus.
  • Knowledge in EV power systems and test development is an added advantage.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and demanding product development environment and balance engineering decisions with schedule, material cost, and manufacturability.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to be able to work across multiple functions and drive development.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
