The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud DevOps with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing our cloud infrastructure, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline our CI/CD processes, automate workflows, and optimize cloud deployments

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate application deployments.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them in the cloud environment.
  • Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
  • Administer databases, including MySQL and Redis, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
  • Implement auto-scaling and cost-optimization strategies using Karpenter.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed across all cloud deployments.
  • Document processes, configurations, and procedures to maintain operational excellence.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Cloud DevOps roles.
  • Cloud Platforms: Strong hands-on in AWS, including experience with EC2, S3, EFS, RDS, ASG, VPC, Security (IAM, KMS, Security Groups), etc.
  • Kubernetes: Proficient in managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters, particularly with EKS.
  • Containerization: Experience with Docker for containerization and orchestration.
  • CI/CD: Solid experience with tech stack for for building and managing CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Codedeploy.
  • Infrastructure as Code: CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK. 
  • Monitoring & Logging: Proficient in the ELK stack for monitoring and logging infrastructure and applications. Also has experience with AWS CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
  • Databases: Hands-on experience with MySQL and Redis administration.
  • Auto-scaling: Knowledge of Karpenter or similar tools for managing auto-scaling in Kubernetes environments.
  • Scripting: Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with remote and on-site teams.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
