Project Senior Manager (Retail, Grocery, Convenience Store)

Job Description:

• Lead and manage the project development team, including interior designers and maintenance personnel.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of retail development projects and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to the project team.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
• Lead the interior design team to ensure design concepts meet project requirements and brand standards.
• Review and approve design plans, layouts, and materials.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively manage risks to avoid project delays and additional costs.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to the management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all project activities and documentation.
• Manage the application and renewal of utilities and licenses required for retail operations.
• Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of utilities and license documentation.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design (ID) or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years & above of experience in project management, with a focus on the food retail industry.
• Candidates with ID background will be highly preferred
• Proven experience in leading and managing project teams.
• Strong knowledge of food retail requirements and regulations.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin is a must

Remuneration: 

RM 8,000 - RM 15,000
