Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high performance and career growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Software QA Strategy and Planning:

  • Drive the implementation of software QA strategy and roadmap that aligned with department objectives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Collaborate with partners to define software QA standards, processes, and methodologies tailored to the needs of agile software development projects.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software QA processes, tools, and methodologies, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Proactively identify areas for optimization and innovation in software testing and quality assurance, advocating for the adoption of new approaches and techniques.

Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding software QA operational matters.
  • Foster collaboration and communication with cross functions/departments, ensuring alignment of software QA activities with broader organizational goals.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or TestOps practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team of engineers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement for the organization.

Remuneration

MYR 12,000 - MYR 19,000
