Responsibilities

  • Championing the category and product vision / purpose
  • Manage the existing product portfolio and working closely with the product development team develop bring to market key pieces of innovation.
  • Building Qnet Brand Equity; ensuring product marketing activities build long term brand equity and in-market results.
  • Manage relationships with key external agencies, suppliers & other market stakeholders.
  • Manage costings, simulations, commercial feasibility and work towards increasing gross profits of the category managed.
  • Create and police critical paths for all activities within development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Stakeholders

  • Head of Product, Head of Digital Content, Campaigns & Creative Design, Head of Business Development, Head of PR & Corporate Comms, Quality Team, Supply Chain and Operations

Qualifications

  • High talent with leadership potential, graduate calibre
  • Strong core leadership competencies
  • Significant and relevant professional experience within Nutrition product
  • Ideally a mix of traditional retail & multi-level marketing with International scope
  • At least 5 years previous product experience preferred from the Nutrition category
  • High levels of creativity and ideally innovation experience
  • A digital native, in touch with the world of start up

    Delivering Results:

    • A real focus on execution and delivery
    • Proven track-record of delivering projects with positive results
    • Understanding of the product development and / or stage gate process - including concept & sensory testing, quality and regulatory and product registration
    • Management of large internal stakeholder groups
    • A strong and proven project manager

    Providing the Vision:

    • Experience in bringing teams together and leading them toward a shared goal
    • Ability to deliver a clear message and ask of your audience (internal / agencies)
    • Experience of driving a strategic planning process. Proven budget management, presentation and communication skills.
    • Willing to travel (moderate: every 2 months)

    Remuneration

    MYR 10,000 - MYR12,000
