About our Client
- Our client is a leading provider of global IT services, offering round-the-clock, multilingual support to clients worldwide. Their Global Support Center (GSC) in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, is dedicated to ensuring optimal operational processes and rapid fault resolution, leveraging our extensive expertise and state-of-the-art technology.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 support for IT services and equipment, ensuring rapid fault detection and resolution.
- Handle incident management including classification, recording, and problem identification.
- Perform technical support and escalation to operational engineers as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors and carriers for efficient fault handling and recovery.
- Execute configuration management, updating documentation for customer service components.
- Conduct regular status checks and maintenance support for equipment and services.
- Respond to customer inquiries about operational components, service specifications, and issues.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports on system status and ticket status to relevant parties.
- Collaborate with client's offices globally to support and resolve customer issues.
- Work in shifts, including night shifts and public holidays, as per the scheduled roster.
Job Requirements
- Must be a native Japanese speaker or a former Japanese national with foreign citizenship.
- Proficiency in conversational to business-level English.
- Minimum communication skills and basic PC operation skills required.
- Ability to work permanent shifts, covering 24/7 operations with a flexible shift schedule.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in IT support or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to obtain a work visa for Malaysia, supported by the company.
Other Job Details
- Position: Permanent
- Nationality: Japanese or Japanese with foreign citizenship (former Japanese)
- Location: Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya
- Start Date: As soon as the work visa is obtained
- Shifts: Rotational shifts of 9:00-21:00 and 21:00-9:00, changing monthly
- Working days: 3-4 days a week
- Paid Leave: 12 days paid leave and 14 days sick leave per year after the probationary period
- Medical Assistance: Up to RM100 per month provided by the company
- Bonus: Annual bonus based on company performance and individual evaluation after the probationary period
Remuneration
- MYR 9,000 including allowances for night shifts, public holidays, and language skills.
