Job Responsibilities:

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities. 
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic planning.

Lead Generation & Sales

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and digital marketing.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve or exceed revenue targets.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and partners.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the fintech ecosystem, such as banks, payment processors, and technology providers.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint business initiatives and drive mutual growth.

Product Knowledge & Advocacy

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of our payment solutions, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the fintech sector. Preferably experience in the E-Commerce space.
  • Advocate for our products and services at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and business development performance.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in the fintech industry.
  • Strong understanding of payment gateways, e-wallets, and digital payment solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Experience working with payment processors, banks, or financial institutions. (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in fintech and digital payments.(Preferred)
  • Understanding of emerging trends and technologies in the fintech sector.(Preferred)
