Work Mode: Fully onsite
Contract: 6 months contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Accountant to support finance operations for the ANZ region within a shared services environment. This role involves a blend of accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and reconciliation activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner in line with company policies and accounting standards
  • Review and verify invoice documentation, approvals, and coding
  • Perform vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Handle payments, including foreign currency and intercompany transactions
  • Manage banking activities, including bank sweeps and transaction postings
  • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support accounts receivable activities, including intercompany billing and allocations
  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting requirements
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
  • Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Provide ad hoc finance support as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or shared services (SSC exposure is an advantage)
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Good communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders
  • Proactive, independent, and a strong team player
  • Open to fresh graduates with accounting internship experience in Shared Service, BPO, or MNC environment
    

Remuneration:

  • Up to RM4,000
