The Opportunity
We're seeking a Junior-Level Associate to join one of our esteemed clients in their Labor & Employment Department in Los Angeles. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on employment law matters involving litigation, supporting a national practice group dedicated to representing employers in complex legal challenges.
What You'll Do
- Litigate Employment Law Matters: Represent employers in cases involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful discharge actions.
- Draft and Advocate: Prepare high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, while developing compelling arguments for clients.
- Collaborate with Clients: Work directly with employers to deliver strategic legal advice and representation.
- Contribute to Growth: Support and help grow a nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience: At least two years of experience representing employers in employment law litigation.
- Education: J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Bar Admission: Admission to the California Bar is required.
- Skills:
- Strong writing, drafting, and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of employment law issues, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful discharge.
- Mindset: Ambition, drive, and a team-oriented approach to practice development and client service.
