A top-tier AM 100 law firm is seeking a highly skilled Project Finance & Infrastructure Associate to join its New York, NY office. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex infrastructure and energy project financings, public-private partnerships (P3s), and structured finance transactions for financial institutions, sponsors, and developers.

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with AM 100 law firm experience, strong transactional skills, and a deep understanding of project finance, structured lending, and infrastructure development.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from a T-14 law school (Required).
  • Graduation Year Requirement: JD earned 2018-2022 (Mid-Level to Senior Associates Encouraged).
  • 3-6+ years of experience handling project finance, structured finance, and infrastructure transactions.
  • Prior Experience at an AM 100 or AM 200 Law Firm (Required).
  • Experience in:
    • Representing lenders, sponsors, and developers in energy, transportation, and infrastructure projects.
    • Drafting and negotiating credit agreements, project contracts, and concession agreements.
    • Structuring public-private partnerships (P3s) and cross-border financing transactions.
    • Advising on regulatory frameworks, risk allocation, and tax-efficient financing structures.
  • Strong knowledge of structured lending, secured transactions, and capital markets financing for large-scale projects.
  • Exceptional Legal Writing & Research Skills with strategic problem-solving abilities.
  • Bar Admission in New York or eligibility to waive in.
  • Consistent Employment History with no unexplained gaps or frequent job-hopping.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $260,000 $450,000
