The Opportunity

We're seeking an Energy Regulatory Litigation Associate with 2+ years of experience to join a nationally recognized Am Law 100 law firm in Washington, D.C. This position offers the chance to collaborate with a premier team at the forefront of critical matters shaping the energy industry across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients, including project developers, independent power producers, and clean energy trade groups, in complex litigation and regulatory matters.
• Work on proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and state utility commissions.
• Manage discovery processes, including document production, and conduct legal research and writing for energy litigation.
• Assist with complex litigation matters as part of the firm's broader litigation practice.
• Contribute to business development through articles, speaking engagements, and client outreach.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in energy regulatory and litigation matters, ideally with experience before FERC.
• Education: JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensure: Must be admitted or eligible for admission in the jurisdiction where the candidate will be based (Washington, D.C., highly preferred).
• Skills:
