A top-tier AM 100 law firm is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Finance Associate to join its New York, NY office. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex financing transactions, leveraged finance, syndicated lending, structured finance, and private equity financings for leading financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and corporate borrowers.

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with AM 100 law firm experience, strong transactional skills, and a deep understanding of financing structures, secured transactions, and capital markets regulations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from a T-14 law school (Required).
• Graduation Year Requirement: JD earned 2016-2022 (Mid-Level to Senior Associates Encouraged).
• 2-6+ years of experience handling corporate finance, leveraged finance, structured finance, or private equity financing transactions.
• Prior Experience at an AM 100 or AM 200 Law Firm (Required).
• Experience in:
  • Syndicated lending, acquisition finance, and asset-based lending.
  • Representing borrowers, sponsors, and lenders in leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and mezzanine financings.
  • Negotiating and drafting credit agreements, security documents, and intercreditor agreements.
  • Debt restructuring, refinancing, and high-yield financings.
• Strong knowledge of UCC Articles 8 and 9, bankruptcy considerations, and secured lending structures.
• Exceptional Legal Writing & Research Skills with strategic problem-solving abilities.
• Bar Admission in New York or eligibility to waive in.
• Consistent Employment History with no unexplained gaps or frequent job-hopping.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $250,000 $450,000
