The Opportunity
We're seeking a Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate to join one of our esteemed clients in their Energy & Natural Resources Strategic Business Unit. This position is open across multiple office locations, including the virtual office, The Link. This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex renewable energy transactions and work with a team dedicated to innovation and sustainability.

What You'll Do
Lead with Purpose: Manage wind, solar, and battery storage real estate transactions, including overseeing scopes of work and mentoring junior attorneys.
Analyze and Innovate: Provide strategic legal guidance on renewable energy real estate matters.
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with clients and team members to achieve successful outcomes.
Deliver Excellence: Apply your expertise to handle high-stakes renewable energy projects with precision and skill.

What You Bring to the Table
Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate transactions, specifically in wind, solar, and/or battery storage projects.
Education: JD with excellent academic credentials.
Bar Admission: Active bar license in the state corresponding to the office location or commitment to obtaining one promptly.
Skills: Exceptional judgment, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Mindset: Proactive, entrepreneurial, and committed to fostering diversity and inclusion while delivering client success.

Your Skillset
Real Estate Expertise: Proven ability to lead complex renewable energy real estate transactions.
Team Leadership: Experience managing and mentoring junior attorneys within a collaborative environment.
Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to articulate and execute effective legal strategies for renewable energy projects.
Collaboration and Communication: Exceptional client relationship management and teamwork skills.

Competitive Compensation: Salary range of $225,000 to $275,000 in Denver, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Washington, DC, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in other markets may vary.
