Position: Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain

Location: Arcola, IL or Indianapolis, IN area

Starting Minimum Pay: $100,000 per year

Your Opportunity:

The Supply Chain and Operations team is looking for a Sr. Supply Chain Specialist to join our team based in Indianapolis, IN or Arcola, IL.

Here's how you'll make an impact: The role is responsible for assisting the local manufacturing teams in developing, implementing and documenting best-in-class planning, inventory and supply chain related processes across the brand of product.

What We Want You to Accomplish:

Working with local plant Operations leadership, develop and implement production planning related controls and tools to optimize throughput and capacity utilization.

Working with local plant Operations and Finance leadership, develop and implement inventory management processes and controls to optimize working capital position.

Implement the Materials Playbook throughout the manufacturing locations.

Create, maintain and communicate a Planning related KPI dashboard aligned with annual organizational goals.

Develop analytical models to determine the appropriate inventory entitlement for key commodity or finished goods categories.

Support S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) initiatives and data requirements, where required.

Lead planning and materials management related improvement projects and initiatives as required.

Ensure that monthly, quarterly, and yearly KPI's are prepared and published as appropriate.

What you'll do on a daily basis:



Work closely with the local Production and Materials Management teams on critical improvement initiatives.

Assist the plants in developing and optimizing their Supply Planning tools and methodology.

Perform data analysis as required to support improved working capital management.

Participate in local plant process improvement events or initiatives.

Develop and update materials and production control related dashboard metrics.

Identify and initiate improvement activities to support the Oliver Wight approach to business improvement

Share and distribute KPI's and leading indicator trends with Supply Chain and Operations leadership team to show outliers and opportunities for improvements and cost savings.

Assist in determining materials management best practices and developing standard work instructions to support.

Creating standard work for critical materials management processes.

What you'll bring to the table:



Bachelors Degree Required in a relevant field (Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Statistics, Finance preferred).

5-7 Years of experience in a supply chain, planning or inventory control related position.

Knowledgeable in MRP/ERP systems, preferably Oracle.

Strong analytical capabilities - Excel, Statistical Modeling, Power BI.

Strong Communication / Influencing skills capable of maintaining positive internal/external relationships.

Ability and willingness to travel, as required, to the manufacturing facilities.
