ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join the IT organization of a leading global insurance and financial services group as a Senior IT Project Manager, overseeing the successful delivery of projects that directly support the business. This is a chance to operate at scale within a large, dynamic enterprise, coordinating across business analysis, development, and IT operations to keep critical initiatives on track.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You will be responsible for the oversight of IT project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements, based in Lisbon with a hybrid model of 2 days per week in person. Your scope includes defining and managing comprehensive project plans covering timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation; organizing communication and coordination mechanisms across stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment; monitoring project progress, identifying issues, and implementing corrective actions; and preparing and disseminating status updates and reporting to relevant stakeholders.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Demonstrated expertise managing complex IT projects within dynamic environments
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and associated tools
• Proven ability to analyze issues, structure solutions, and support decision-making processes
• Experience coordinating activities across multiple domains and contributors
• Academic background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related domain
• Recognized project management certification (PMP or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years' expertise in IT project management
• Proficiency in project management tools and software
• Ability to structure and formalize communication with stakeholders
• Knowledge of ServiceNow
• B2 English (Upper Intermediate) or above

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Experience contributing to the continuous improvement and optimization of project management practices
• Experience building structured stakeholder communication frameworks within large, complex organizations
• Background working within insurance, financial services, or another large enterprise environment
