ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
A well-established digital learning company with over 25 years of experience designing transformative eLearning solutions is looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to join their Digital Learning Experience team. This is a role for someone who thinks holistically about pedagogy, design, interactivity, and user experience — not just content creation, but genuinely impactful learning journeys. If you have a sharp eye for visual quality and a passion for turning complex concepts into simple, engaging experiences, this is a strong opportunity to lead meaningful projects end-to-end.

PROJECT & CONTEXT
You'll be leading digital learning projects from initial consultancy and diagnosis through to final delivery, working across the full content lifecycle — text, narrative, imagery, audio, video, and animation. The role sits at the intersection of instructional design, UX/UI, and creative production, collaborating closely with designers, developers, animators, consultants, and content specialists to build learning journeys that are intuitive, engaging, and pedagogically sound.

- Mandatory hands-on proficiency in Articulate Storyline as an authoring tool
- Strong command of pedagogical principles, applied to designing effective, innovative, user-centred learning experiences
- Ability to create storyboards, interaction flows, and visual concepts for digital learning experiences

- Knowledge of AI tools and other resources for image and audio editing/production
- Strong creative thinking, critical judgement, and visual sensitivity
- Ability to lead projects from consultancy and diagnosis through to final delivery

- Rigorous, autonomous, and dynamic working style with a strong sense of ownership
- English B2 or above
- Resident in Portugal, ideally in the greater Lisbon metropolitan area, with valid work documentation
