TITLE: Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes) - Remote Europe (Portugal Timezone Required)
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join a fast-growing global insurtech transforming the insurance industry through innovative digital platforms spanning multiple continents. This organization operates with a flat structure — no rigid hierarchies — empowering multidisciplinary international teams with genuine autonomy and flexibility. We're hiring 3 Senior DevOps Engineers to work hand-in-hand with major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud) building cutting-edge online insurance platforms. This is a seat at the table for people who think critically, challenge the status quo, and want to shape infrastructure strategy — not just execute tickets. Remote from anywhere in Europe, aligned to Portugal timezone.
PROJECT & CONTEXT
You'll join fast-paced teams powering an AI-driven digital insurance marketplace with personalized product recommendations, an automated underwriting engine delivering real-time risk assessments and policy approvals in seconds, and a global device replacement network enabling same-day repairs and replacements. Core responsibilities include designing and implementing advanced cloud architectures on AWS and GCP, building internal developer tools, advancing Infrastructure-as-Code practices, and driving automation across the full workload lifecycle. You'll be accountable for eliminating single points of failure, continuously optimizing cloud infrastructure, and evaluating emerging technologies — with real influence over architectural decisions in a multi-continent deployment environment.
