ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Owner to lead the operational governance, strategic evolution and enterprise-wide management of a large-scale ServiceNow platform within a global organisation.

This is a long-term contract opportunity designed for senior professionals who combine strong technical leadership with business stakeholder management and platform governance expertise.

The role follows a hybrid working model with approximately one visit per month to London.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You will take ownership of the ServiceNow platform lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence, roadmap execution and governance across a complex international environment. Working closely with senior business leaders, architects and engineering teams, you will oversee platform strategy, technical debt management, release planning and DevOps maturity.

The platform includes enterprise ServiceNow capabilities across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB and modern AI-driven functionality supporting automation and digital transformation initiatives.

Required languages:

  • English (Fluent / C1-C2 mandatory)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Platform Owner or in enterprise ServiceNow platform leadership roles.
  • Strong background managing ServiceNow engineering and DevOps teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM and CMDB.
  • Experience defining platform governance frameworks and architecture standards.
  • Experience managing technical debt and complex platform upgrade strategies.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD, automated testing and Agile delivery.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled platform capabilities, enterprise automation or Generative AI initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with executive-level communication abilities.
  • Experience aligning business demand, platform roadmap and delivery capacity.
  • Experience working within large multinational or tier-one enterprise environments.
  • Previous experience with recognised consulting firms or major corporate organisations is highly desirable.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to London approximately once per month.

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

  • Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities such as Now Assist.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and strategic delivery partners.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow FSM or CSM ecosystems.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Experience in highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Previous responsibility for multi-country ServiceNow platforms.

Compensation: €3,150 – €4,200/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
