Platform Engineer (Microsoft Fabric/Azure/Power Platform) – Full Remote Portugal

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join a well-established international consulting project, working fully remote from Portugal. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the technical architecture behind a modern Microsoft AI and data ecosystem, playing a central role in shaping how a growing organization governs, secures, and scales its data platform.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You'll be responsible for the holistic technical architecture and operational stability of the Microsoft AI and data platform, with a strong focus on Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining the foundational governance framework — covering security architecture, access models (roles and permissions), and environment strategies. A key part of the role involves implementing and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to ensure secure and compliant data operations, as well as monitoring platform capacity to guarantee consistent, high-performance utilization.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
• Experience with governance, security architecture, and access/permission models
• Familiarity with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy implementation
• Understanding of platform capacity monitoring and performance optimization
• B2 (Upper Intermediate) English or higher
• Senior-level professional experience

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Experience with Power Platform administration and governance
• Background in enterprise data platform architecture
• Exposure to multi-environment strategy design (dev/test/prod)

Compensation: €2100 – €2750/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
