ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a leading European logistics and parcel delivery group operating at major scale, connecting people and places across dozens of locations and processing hundreds of millions of shipments annually. As part of the group's BI Platform Team, you'll help build the foundation for data-driven decision-making across the organization through a modern, decentralized data architecture spanning raw data, self-service analytics, machine learning, and visual analytics.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

We're looking for a Business Data Product Owner to lead the development of a group-wide Marketing & Sales Data Product. The mission: make marketing and sales performance transparently measurable across the entire customer journey — from campaigns and leads, to opportunities, new customers, parcel volumes, revenue, and profitability. You'll own the business roadmap, harmonize key metrics (lead conversion, CAC, ROMI, and other marketing/sales KPIs), and collaborate closely with country teams across Germany, Austria, and other markets to establish a group-wide data standard within a data mesh approach.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, data science, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Data Product Owner
• Strong understanding of marketing, sales, or CRM processes
• Experience working with data products, analytics, or BI solutions
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling
• Ability to translate business requirements into concrete data and reporting solutions
• Strong communication and stakeholder facilitation skills
• Structured, independent, and strategic working style
• Very good English skills (required)

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Experience with Snowflake or similar modern cloud data warehouse technologies
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks
• Experience with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban

Compensation: €2,200 – €2,800/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
