Our client is a multinational company in the industrial raw materials field. We are looking for a hands-on IT Project Manager / PMO Lead to build our PMO function from the ground up. This is a greenfield opportunity - you will define the frameworks, introduce the governance standards, and drive the delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects across a growing technology organisation.

The ideal candidate combines solid project delivery experience with the strategic mindset to establish lasting PMO practices. You will have direct visibility with senior leadership and report to the CTO.

What you will do

Design and establish the PMO from scratch

Define governance frameworks, standards, templates, and best practices

You lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects and workstreams

Own project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation

Track and report on performance, risks, issues, and dependencies

Provide structured reporting to the CTO and senior stakeholders

Coordinate cross-functional teams across Developers, Infrastructure, Business, and Vendors

Facilitate steering committees and executive-level meetings

Keep IT initiatives aligned with business objectives

Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and PMO maturity

Support portfolio management and the prioritisation of initiatives

What you need to have

5+ years of experience in IT Project Management and/or PMO roles

Proven experience building or significantly maturing a PMO function

Strong command of PMO governance models and project frameworks
Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Proficiency with project tracking tools

Confidence operating independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment

Experience bridging technical and non-technical teams

Nice to have

PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (CSM / PSM)

Experience with Power BI or executive reporting dashboards

Background in digital transformation or ERP / enterprise systems projects
