About the company and the position​

Our client is a multinational distribution company offering a broad range of polymers from global leading producers and with a focus on excellence in the wire and cable sector. Based in Thessaloniki, the company provides integrated distribution, logistics, and technical service, serving customers nationally and globally.

The Commercial Officer interacts with international customers to handle complaints, process orders, and provide information. The position is based at the Greek head office in Thessaloniki (Sindos Industrial area).

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers in Europe to update order status like checking and changing delivery dates

• Processes orders, forms, applications, and requests

• Builds and maintains relationships with customer accounts with open and interactive communication.

• Follow up on the timely resolution of claims, within the agreed time frame of the procedure.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelors degree in Business or Logistics

• Εxperience (2 to 3 years) in a similar position (Logistics, Customer Service or Sales Back Office)

• Fluency in Dutch and English,

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to multitask

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems

Additional Information

• The company offers a monthly gross salary of 1.200 to 1.600 Euro according to experience and qualifications

• Hybrid working (one day per week working from home)

• Working schedule: 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
