ABOUT THE POSITION: The Banking Consultancy Services Lead is a senior role, responsible for spearheading client engagements, driving business growth, building an excellent and profitable consultancy team, and providing strategic direction in the banking and financial services sector. This role requires a blend of deep industry knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects.

I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for key banking clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and provide strategic advisory services to address their challenges.

2. Leadership and Team Development:

- Mentor and develop IT and Business consultants and project managers.
- Develop a 10 FTE team in one year time.
- Build a collaborative and innovative team culture.

3. Business Development:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the banking sector.
- Develop proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new clients.
- Sales execution (planning, development, closing), responsibility for profit generation on consultancy team.

II. EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, financial services, or consulting.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale consulting teams / projects.
- Experience in managing client relationships and business development.

III. SKILLS:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Deep understanding of banking operations, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and strategic planning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
