Technical Writer

Your new role:

As a Technical Writer, your role will involve collaborating closely with the product, sales, and technical support teams to develop and maintain comprehensive and detailed documentation for our client's products, partners, and internal teams. Your objective will be to produce documentation that meets the standards set for our client products.

Your work will play a vital role in facilitating the understanding and efficient utilization of their products and services by both internal teams and external stakeholders. Your strong communication skills, meticulous approach to information gathering, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams will be instrumental in delivering high-quality documentation that meets the needs of their users.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with product, sales, technical support and marketing teams to understand the technical requirements and create technical content.
• Research and produce technical documentation, including but not limited to product manuals, diagrams, brochures, scripts, etc. both digital and print.
• Maintain a knowledge base for the technical content of the products and keep track of certification projects documentation and compliance progress.
• Actively communicate with all the parties involved into the compliance process
• Participate in compliance inspections and audits to ensure that the technical documentation meets the necessary standards and regulatory requirements.
• Evolve document templates, tools and content development practices.
• Ensure customer success by creating onboarding documentation for technical audiences.
• Utilize a variety of visual elements in documentation

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years experience at the same or similar position within Electronics, IT or Product Manufacturer Company;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bulgarian and English;
• Have very good understanding of fundamental concepts of electricity. Interpret and analyze wiring diagrams and electrical schematics to create a technical documentation.
• A Bachelors degree in Electronics, Telecommunication or other Hardware engineering field is an advantage.
• Excellent understating of cloud-based Content Management Systems (CMS);
• A degree or certification in Technical Writing and/or Instructional Design will be considered as an advantage;
• Communicate freely with the different roles in the organization to collect the needed data and structure it into a technical document.
• Clear commercial mindset, constantly focused on delivering value to customers and meeting deadlines.
• MS Office 365 and HTML are an advantage.
