Purchasing Specialist

For one of our partners, we are currently looking for a  Purchasing Specialist: 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure continuous operation of the production facilities through providing and maintaining the necessary materials and services;
• Work with SAP database of materials, suppliers, contracts and purchase requests;
• Negotiate terms of purchases/ services;
• Follow up of market situation development;
• Participate in purchasing related projects.
• Place and track purchase orders;
• Monitor the complete supply chain;
• Coordinate with suppliers;
• Liaise with production as the customer;
• Optimize purchasing with regards to total costs of ownership;
  
  Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor`s degree - Technical or Economics;
• Relevant professional experience in a production company will be considered a plus;
• Previous experience in assigning services will be considered a plus;
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels;
• Technical affinity;
• Ability to generate new ideas and identify potential for improvement within his working area;
• Good MS Office skills;
• Very good command of English language;
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP is highly desired;
