Our client is a global supplier to the automotive industry that delivers added value to automakers and shareholders through the development of automotive electronics. Our Client creates, designs and manufactures high-tech electronics products and solutions for the connected car that ensure driver and passenger enjoyment of the journey and continuous connectivity of the car.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop industry-leading targeted attributes for EV power electronics;
• Lead architecture development and key component design for power stage and control electronics;
• Create and execute innovative designs and processes in all aspects of power electronics products;
• Engage with industry and academic consortiums and conferences to promote  technology positions and build a talent pipeline.

Your qualifications:

Demonstrated skills and abilities as might be expected from a person with:

• Experience with DCDC converters simulation, schematic capture, and layout;
• Experience with PFC (power factor controller), LLC, and gate drive circuitry design;
• Demonstrated capability in creating and executing innovative ideas in converter design and/or in relevant technologies mentioned above;
• Hands-on electrical hardware testing/debugging capability;
• Good communication skills; verbal and written with global cultural sensitivity ;
• Ability to work within a constrained deadline (quotes are tightly time bound);
• Self-motivated with ability to lead a global team toward a common goal;
• Power electronics background;
• BS in EE or related field with equivalent experience is required. A Masters degree is preferred.
