For our client - International manufacturing company we are looking for Chief Accountant.

Job responsibilities:

• Responsible for local monthly closing tasks in order to provide timely information for the consolidation;
• Support in the definition of local financial and accounting policies and relation with credit institutions in order to assure implementation and accomplishment of legal requisites, financing and communication with stakeholders;
• Support the process implementation assuring the cooperation with the corporate finance administration department in order to guarantee local implementation;
• Coordination of local yearly closing and support to local audit teams as well as to the corporate consolidation area;
• Respond to tax authorities and auditors about all relevant matters in order to ensure tax compliance;
• Research and prepare technical legal reviews in new or revised law in order to make sure that the company is applying the best procedures available;
• · Coordinate tax, internal and external audits in order to assure that all legal requirements are accomplished;
  
  Requirements and skills:
  
  
• Finance/ Accounting education and professional background is a must.
• Experience as a Chief accountant / Head of Accounting or Finance department / Finance manager / Finance controller - at least 3+ years
• Very good level in English
• Past experience with SAP would be considered a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of local accounting and taxation legislation is required.
• · Experience with preparation of Financial Statement and other local reporting is also required.
