For one of our partners, we are currently looking for a Manual QA Specialist.

Your new role:

The Manual QA Specialist will test our client's prototypes and products (devices and software) in R&D.
The Specialist will perform current test procedures and methods to ensure device and software functionality and that the products meet industry and customer specifications. He/she will prepare test reports, take active part in writing manuals and documentation, and develop new test procedures and methods. The Specialist will also verify products reliability through analysis and troubleshooting of components and equipment at various stages of the product development process. In addition, the Specialist will provide a second level of technical support to first-line support agents.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual functional tests of hardware devices and appropriate software (embedded, web and mobile).
  • Research installation manuals and manually set up third-party equipment (alarm panels and home automation devices).
  • Maintain existing execution plans and test procedures and develop new ones. • Prepare and verify internal knowledgebase articles.
  • Experience in the field of manual QA testing of software and hardware.
  • Passion for quality assurance, attention to detail, analytical approach, and desire to understand reasons behind failed tests.
  • Basic knowledge of digital electronics.
  • Basic knowledge of multilayer PCB layout design.
  • High School diploma and/or Bachelor`s/Master`s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent field is an advantage.
