PROCESS ENGINEER

Key accountabilities

• Manage, plan, and organize the industrialization of current and/or new manufacturing processes.
• Support the development, modification, and implementation of manufacturing processes.
• Ensure that the product meets applicable specifications.
• Prepare and maintain adequate and up-to-date documentation during development and/or transfer of products.
• Responsible for development and implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives within production areas.
• Lead and ensure the transfer of new and/or current production lines. Transfer the knowledge to ensure smooth start of regular manufacturing.

Skills and professional background

• Knowledge and experience in definition and control of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of Run at Rate measurement, line balancing, line optimization.
• Knowledge of creation of BOMs, Process mapping, Working Instruction.
• Knowledge of creation of FMEA, Flow chart, Control plan
• Six sigma methods (SPC, Control charts, R&R).
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
• Skilled in MS Office and Internet savvy.
• The following knowledge and previous working experience would be advantageous:

1. Basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics;
2. Basic knowledge of project management principles;
3. LEAN.

• Team worker with good communication skills.
• Generates & applies new ideas & solutions
• Willingness to travel.

Education
Engineering degree in Electronics, Micro-techniques, physics or equivalent.
