Local hardware store looking for a passionate and results-driven Store Manager who values community connections and has a problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate will oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and build relationships within the community to drive local engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management

    • Supervise, train, and motivate team members to create a positive and productive work environment.

    • Foster a customer-first culture by setting an example in customer service and problem-solving.

    • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve employee skills.

  • Community Engagement & Customer Service

    • Build strong relationships with local customers, contractors, and businesses.

    • Ensure a welcoming and helpful in-store experience for all customers.

  • Problem Solving & Operational Excellence

    • Quickly assess and resolve customer concerns to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.

    • Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency.

    • Maintain strong inventory management to ensure product availability and minimize loss.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in hardware or home improvement.

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.

  • Ability to resolve problems quickly and creatively.

  • Passion for community involvement and customer engagement.

  • Knowledge of hardware, tools, and home improvement products.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
