Position Summary

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and light commercial properties. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and ventilation units

• Diagnose system malfunctions and recommend repairs or replacements

• Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups on HVAC equipment

• Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures

• Communicate effectively with customers regarding services performed and future recommendations

• Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports

• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience preferred

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
