As an Inside Sales Coordinator, you will be a vital part of our sales operations team, responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of sales activities and the efficient delivery of products to our customers. Your role will involve leveraging your proficiency in Excel to manage data effectively and collaborating closely with the transportation team to ensure timely shipment of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Support: Provide comprehensive support to the sales team by assisting with order processing, managing customer inquiries, and ensuring a seamless sales process.
- Excel Proficiency: Utilize advanced Excel functions to manage and analyze sales data, track inventory levels, and generate reports to support decision-making.
- Order Processing: Efficiently process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Customer Communication: Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding orders, product availability, and delivery status, providing timely and accurate information to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Transportation Coordination: Collaborate with the transportation team to coordinate shipments, track delivery schedules, and address any logistical issues to ensure on-time delivery of products to customers.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure sufficient stock availability to fulfill customer orders.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes, enhance efficiency, and improve customer service delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams, including sales, logistics, and customer service, to coordinate efforts and achieve common objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a sales coordination or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and maintain complex spreadsheets, analyze data, and generate reports.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of transportation logistics and experience working with transportation teams is preferred.
