Job Description:
Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our team and support our financial operations. This role is essential in managing and analyzing costs related to our manufacturing processes, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and contributing to cost efficiency improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing cost accounting and experience with ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain cost accounting systems to ensure accurate tracking of manufacturing expenses.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of ERP systems, ensuring accurate financial data integration.
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs, identifying variances and providing actionable insights to improve efficiency.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing cost reports and reconciling accounts.
- Work closely with production and operations teams to understand cost drivers and develop strategies for cost reduction.
- Conduct inventory valuation and reconciliation, ensuring proper financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting policies and procedures in alignment with industry best practices.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, providing detailed cost analysis to support business decisions.
- Generate and present reports on cost trends, pricing analysis, and profit margins to management.
- Stay updated on changes in cost accounting regulations and best practices to maintain compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of costing principles, inventory management, and variance analysis.
- Experience with ERP system implementation and integration (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
