Job Summary:
A leading company in the furniture fittings and hardware industry is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to handle end-to-end HR functions across the GCC region. The ideal candidate will have regional HR experience, a solid understanding of GCC labor laws, and the ability to manage multi-country HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires across the GCC.
- Coordinate with department heads to identify hiring needs and create job descriptions.
- Ensure the onboarding process is seamless, welcoming new employees across different countries.
2. Employee Relations
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees on HR-related matters across the GCC region.
- Address employee grievances, manage disciplinary actions, and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
3. Compensation & Benefits
- Assist with payroll processing in coordination with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Oversee employee benefits programs and ensure competitiveness in the market.
- Ensure compliance with statutory benefits across the GCC.
4. Policy Implementation
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with GCC labor laws.
- Regularly review and update policies to ensure compliance and relevance across the region.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training needs and assist in organizing training programs to enhance employee skills.
- Support the performance management process by ensuring employees have clear KPIs and development plans.
6. HR Operations & Reporting
- Manage employee records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Provide regular HR reports to management, covering recruitment, employee turnover, and engagement.
- Handle visa processes and employee work permits in collaboration with the PRO team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification (CIPD/SHRM) is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Regional HR experience across GCC countries is a must.
- Strong knowledge of UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman labor laws.
