As a Chef de Partie (CDP), you will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene. This is a key role for experienced chefs looking for variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to showcase their talent in top-tier kitchens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standards
  • Maintain consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation
  • Ensure all mise-en-place is completed efficiently and accurately
  • Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, including Commis Chefs
  • Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
  • Comply with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the kitchen brigade
  • Adapt quickly to different kitchen environments and styles

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
  • Strong culinary skills and understanding of kitchen operations
  • Ability to lead and motivate junior staff
  • Flexible, reliable, and professional attitude
  • Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to travel to Central London or Surrey
  • Food Safety Level 2 (or willingness to obtain)
