Language: English + (Dutch or French) -- EN/DU or EN/FR is OK
Start: August as soon as possible

Hybrid Role  (Office + Home)

Experience requirement between 5 and 8 years of experience.
CICS knowledge

Job Summary

Our client is looking for a talented and experienced COBOL Developer to join our team in Brussels, Belgium. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining applications using the COBOL programming language. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the COBOL language, and be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and test applications using COBOL

Analyze user requirements and develop system specifications

Debug and troubleshoot existing applications

Design, implement, and document code

Work with other developers to ensure code quality and performance

Monitor system performance and provide support to end users

Stay up to date with the latest COBOL trends and technologies

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

5+ years of experience with COBOL programming

Experience with database systems such as Oracle and SQL

Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively and independently

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be eligable to work in Europe
