Job Summary

We are currently in need of a Cost Accounting Manager who will be responsible for handling all cost-related financial activities of the business. This position is best suited for someone with hands-on experience in the food and beverage or FMCG sector, and with strong expertise in analyzing costs, identifying variances, and ensuring proper financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Management and Compliance

    • Take full ownership of cost accounting processes, including product costing and cost of sales computation
    • Establish and refine costing frameworks, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial data
    • Safeguard compliance with accounting regulations, company policies, and internal control systems
    • Oversee inventory costing and ensure records are properly maintained and validated

    Analysis & Financial Insights

    • Examine cost fluctuations across raw materials, workforce expenses, and overhead costs
    • Provide clear explanations for any variances and recommend solutions to address gaps
    • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, offering insights to support leadership decisions

    Operational Support and Cost Efficiency 

    • Track production-related spending and evaluate overall cost performance
    • Identify inefficiencies and recommend strategies to reduce expenses and improve processes
    • Work collaboratively with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to strengthen cost control measures

    Planning and Forecasting

    • Participate in financial planning activities, including budgeting and forecasting of cost components
    • Analyze cost drivers to support better projections and resource allocation

    Qualifications: 

    • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any related discipline
    • Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
    • At least 5-8 years of experience in cost accounting or similar finance roles
    • Prior exposure to restaurant, food production, or FMCG industries is required.
