Key Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising Strategy
- Develop and implement regional visual display standards across all assigned mall properties
- Ensure consistent branding, aesthetics, and visual storytelling throughout mall spaces
- Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, promotional displays, and thematic installations
Tenant & Marketing Collaboration
- Work closely with tenants, marketing teams, and mall management to align displays with campaigns and promotions
- Provide visual merchandising guidance to tenants to maintain overall mall presentation standards
- Support marketing activations, events, and brand launches through impactful visual setups
Display Planning & Execution
- Oversee the design, production, and installation of visual displays, decorations, and promotional elements
- Ensure all installations meet brand guidelines, safety standards, and operational requirements
- Manage timelines and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
Regional Oversight
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor display quality and compliance across malls
- Identify opportunities to improve visual presentation and customer engagement
- Develop and maintain regional visual merchandising guidelines and best practices
Team Leadership & Budget Management
- Lead and mentor visual merchandising teams across locations
- Manage display budgets, vendor relationships, and project costs
- Evaluate display effectiveness and recommend improvements based on foot traffic and engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field
- 7–10 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail display, or mall marketing
- Proven experience managing large-scale displays, installations, or retail environments
- Strong creative and conceptual design skills with attention to detail
- Experience leading teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Strong project management and vendor management skills
- Ability to travel within the assigned region
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of retail trends, shopper behavior, and experiential marketing
- Experience working with mall developers, retail chains, or commercial property groups
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or SketchUp is a plus
