Advisory Associate - Model Risk Management / Compliance & Regulatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Support independent model validation and model risk management engagements, including assessment of methodologies, assumptions, data, performance, governance, and controls.
• Conduct quantitative analysis, statistical testing, and data-driven assessments to support risk, regulatory, and advisory engagements.
• Assist in financial services consulting projects covering regulatory compliance, internal audit, risk management, and independent compliance reviews.
• Contribute to specialized advisory engagements involving AML, Data Privacy, SOX compliance, internal controls, and other regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and data analytics specialists to develop analyses, working papers, reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Statistics, or a related discipline, with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience or knowledge in banking, financial services, risk management, model validation, data analytics, audit, or regulatory consulting.
• Understanding of financial risk management, banking regulations, model risk concepts, and quantitative or statistical analysis, including techniques such as regression and time-series modeling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
