About the role
We are seeking a results-driven General Trade Manager to lead and execute marketing initiatives across general trade channels, including sari-sari stores, mini groceries, and other independent retail outlets.
This role plays a key part in driving sales growth, strengthening in-store execution, and enhancing overall market performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and channel performance to identify growth opportunities and address gaps
- Develop and implement retail marketing strategies to improve product visibility, availability, and conversion in stores
- Lead the execution of in-store initiatives, including promotions, merchandising, and point-of-sale materials
- Collaborate closely with sales, brand, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution
- Monitor performance of initiatives and optimize strategies based on insights and results
- Support the development of new channels and drive growth across key product categories
- Ensure readiness and scalability of programs for broader roll-out across different regions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- At least 8–10 years of managerial experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, or sales, preferably within FMCG or a similar industry
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving successful marketing initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn insights into action
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment
- Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven
