Role Overview
The Regional Leasing Head leads leasing operations across multiple malls or retail properties, driving occupancy, revenue growth, and strategic tenant mix alignment at a regional level. This role oversees leasing strategies, negotiates high-value contracts, and builds strong relationships with key tenants and stakeholders to enhance overall portfolio performance. The position also manages and develops a team of leasing managers to ensure consistent execution of corporate objectives across locations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 10–15+ years of leasing experience within retail, mall, or commercial environments
- At least 5 years in a senior managerial role, preferably overseeing multiple locations or branches
- Proven experience in managing a diverse tenant mix (fashion, F&B, lifestyle, entertainment, services, anchors) across multiple properties
- Strong track record in strategic lease negotiations, portfolio management, and revenue optimization
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across regions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends, occupancy performance, and pipeline opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee leasing operations across multiple malls or retail properties, ensuring alignment with regional and corporate objectives
- Develop and implement regional leasing strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and tenant mix targets
- Identify, source, and secure tenants aligned with portfolio strategy, ensuring a balanced and competitive mix across categories
- Negotiate high-value lease agreements, renewals, and amendments to maximize revenue and long-term asset value
- Build and maintain relationships with key tenants, brokers, and industry partners at a regional level
- Monitor portfolio performance, tenant productivity, and market trends to recommend re-tenanting, expansion, or strategic initiatives
- Mentor and manage a team of leasing managers, setting objectives, tracking performance, and fostering professional development
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and property management teams to support tenant openings, events, and overall portfolio performance
- Prepare comprehensive leasing reports, forecasts, and presentations for executive management, providing insights on occupancy, pipeline, and regional revenue performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and lease documentation standards across all locations
