Job Description

The Senior Procurement Officer supports the Category Manager in executing sourcing strategies and managing supplier relationships to ensure efficient, compliant, and value-driven procurement operations. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and Global Procurement teams to optimize the supply base, improve procurement processes, and ensure alignment with the companys procurement policies and standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Support the development and execution of category sourcing strategies aligned with business needs.

  • Identify and understand stakeholder requirements to effectively deliver category plans.

  • Optimize the supply base through market research, analysis, and supplier evaluation.

  • Manage the full supplier lifecycle, including accreditation, onboarding, performance monitoring, and phase-out.

  • Ensure all sourcing and procurement activities comply with companys procurement policies and procedures.

  • Recommend and support procurement process improvements and help ensure proper on-site implementation.

  • Collaborate with Global Procurement teams and internal stakeholders to align sourcing initiatives.

  • Support project-based procurement activities in a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field (Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related).

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in procurement, category management, or a related role (for Senior Buyer level).

  • Prior exposure to category management, procurement, engineering, or operational environments is highly desirable.

  • Preferably with IT procurement experience, but candidates with indirect (non-IT) procurement backgrounds are welcome.

  • Proven ability to support cross-functional teams in project-based settings.

  • Procurement or supply chain certifications or affiliations are an advantage.
