Role Overview
The Learning and Development Head leads the design and execution of enterprise-wide learning strategies to build strong capabilities across sales, distribution, and support functions. This role drives talent development, leadership readiness, and performance improvement aligned with business priorities.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in learning and development, talent development, or organizational capability building, preferably at a senior leadership (Director or Head) level.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management experience, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and scaling learning and training programs, particularly for sales and distribution teams
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to link learning initiatives to performance outcomes
- Preferably with L&D experience within the financial services, insurance, banking, or related industries.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term talent needs
- Design, deliver, and continuously enhance training programs for sales, distribution, and operational teams to strengthen skills, productivity, and performance
- Lead, coach, and mentor the L&D team to ensure high-quality program delivery and capability building across the organization
- Monitor, assess, and report on the effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives using relevant metrics and feedback mechanisms
- Partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders to support leadership development, succession planning, and organizational growth initiatives
