Finance Controller
Location: Taguig City
Work Setup: Hybrid (2–3x onsite per week)
Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexible shift options)
Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic Finance Controller to spearhead our financial and accounting operations. This role is a blend of high-level financial strategy and hands-on management. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our financial data, driving SAP-integrated processes, and managing risk within a fast-paced environment (FMCG experience is a major plus).
Whether you are a CPA or a seasoned Non-CPA professional with a powerhouse background in finance leadership, we are looking for your expertise to optimize our fiscal health and lead a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily finance and accounting functions, including internal controls and financial procedures.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; provide actionable insights to support business strategy.
- Budgeting & Cash Flow: Manage forecasting, financial planning, and cost control to ensure long-term stability.
- Compliance: Ensure 100% alignment with Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and lead the accounting team toward operational excellence.
- Audit & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, banking partners, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Status: CPA is an advantage, but Non-CPAs with equivalent leadership experience are highly encouraged to apply.
- Experience: 7–10 years in finance/accounting, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Technical Savvy: High proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector is preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical mindset, mastery of risk management, and excellent organizational skills.
