Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Workforce Planning

  • Manage high-volume recruitment for frontline and managerial roles (service crew, kitchen staff, supervisors, managers).
  • Coordinate manpower planning, staffing levels, and onboarding aligned with operational requirements.
  • Partner with restaurant managers to address staffing gaps, turnover, and succession needs.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Support conflict resolution and ensure fair and consistent application of company policies.

Performance Management

  • Implement performance evaluation processes for restaurant staff and managers.
  • Coach managers on performance feedback, corrective actions, and development planning.
  • Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Coordination

  • Administer compensation structures, incentives, and benefits in line with company policy.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, overtime, and leave management with finance or payroll providers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate onboarding and mandatory training programs, including food safety, workplace conduct, and customer service.
  • Partner with operations and L&D teams to support skills and leadership development.
  • Track training compliance and certification requirements.

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain updated HR policies, employee handbooks, and employment contracts.
  • Support labor inspections, audits, and documentation requirements.

HR Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
  • Prepare HR reports on headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and disciplinary cases.
  • Support HR budgeting and manpower cost analysis.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Years of HR experience, preferably within the restaurant or food and beverage sector.
  • Strong experience in employee relations and high-volume workforce management.
  • Working knowledge of labor laws and restaurant industry practices.
